One-Tens Over Kent by Trudgian

A totally new concept in aviation art from the creative studio of one of the world's most innovative aviation artists. Two prints issued together as a matching pair, between them depicting a three-minute time-frame following a specific Luftwaffe raid on R.A.F. Biggin Hill in August, 1940.
In the first of Nicolas Trudgian's beautiful painted Time-Frame™ prints, THE THRESHING PARTY, we gaze upon an idyllic Kentish countryside scene in south-east England with farm workers, unaware of the approaching enemy raiders, peacefully threshing the summer harvest. For these country folk the war could be a thousand miles away.
Featured in his second work (above), ONE-TENs OVER KENT, are the Messerschmitt Me110s and 109s of 210 Gruppe based at Calais-Marck, their target the R.A.F. fighter station at Biggin Hill. The date August 30, 1940.
