Snowbird by Nixon Galloway

One of the most widely used and beloved basic trainers in World War II was the Boeing-Stearman "Kaydet"; many of which were utilized for a variety of purposes in civilian aviation after the war. Nixon Galloway has captured a delightful image of a snowbound Stearman tied down for the winter. The classic biplane peacefully awaits the coming of spring and another season of flying.
