Hans Siegel by Michael Wooten

Hans Siegel began his military career as an infantryman serving in a machinegun company with "Leibstandarte SS-Adolf Hitler." Early in the war he attended the SS-Junkerschule at Bad Tolz in Bavaria and was commissioned SS-Untersturmfuhrer upon completion of the course. He served on the Eastern Front until 1944 when he was transferred to the newly formed 12th SS-Panzerdivision "Hitler Jugend." He was badly wounded when his tank caught on fire. He continued commanding his old unit when he recovered, and was awarded the Knights Cross on 23rd August 1944 for his courage and steadfast determination.

Each print was personally autographed by Hans Siegel.
