Horrido! - Rall by Les Carter
Horrido!…the war cry of the Luftwaffe fighter pilots when they an enemy aircraft was sighted. The word "Horrido" was taken from the name of the patron saint of the Luftwaffe fighter pilots, St. Horridus. In over 700 aerial combat sorties in which Gunther Rall achieved 275 aerial victories, he called out this warning to his squadron mates numerous times as he led III/JG52 into aviation history as the greatest fighter group ever.
