Thunderbolt Strike by Robert Taylor
For the second matching print in his new series, Robert portrays the redoubtable P-47 Thunderbolt in ground-attack role, paying tribute to the fighter arm of the Valiant 9th. Robert expertly depicts P-47 Razorbacks of the 404th Fighter Group, spread out across the landscape as they clear the target area, following an attack on the airfield behind the port of Le Havre.
