Last Mission
Gen. Chuck Yeager and Col. Bud Anderson have been best friends for more than fifty years. They still get together often to hunt or fish in the mountain streams much like the one here. In 1945 however, they were two of the hottest fighter aces in the Eighth Air Force. 'The Last Mission' depicts their last mission of World War II, in which they soared through the Alps and did a little sight seeing before turning their P-51 Mustangs toward home. This is a limited edition of 1950. Each print is signed by Chuck Yeager and Bud Anderson as well as by artist Chuck Long.
