F-86 Sabre
Sabres Over MiG Alley by Zoernig

Innovations like its “flying tail,” or one piece horizontal stabilizer, and the Sperry radar ranging gunsight made the North American F-86 Sabre a match for the Soviet-piloted MiG-15s over Korea. However, with experienced combat veterans at the stick, the Sabre came to enjoy a 7:1 kill ratio over the MiGs.
