Herky`s Big Day
On January 30, 1944 during a low level mission to Northern Italy, Col. Herky Green downed four Ju-52s. Thirty minutes later, he bagged a Macchi 202, and on the way home, he downed a Dornier 217. Herky ended his combat tour with a total of 18 victories.
